Forget Me Not is a tap-enabled KinTag for people living with dementia or memory loss. It gives the person who stops to help a direct way to reach a trusted contact.

Keep the connection close.

A tag can go on a wristband, keychain or clothing. A family member, caregiver or your team adds the contact information.

A helper taps the tag.

A compatible smartphone opens a simple contact page. The helper needs no app, account or special reader.

Reach someone who knows them.

The helper can call the contact the family chose, giving them a clear next step when the person cannot explain who to call.

A tag supports connection when someone is found. It has no GPS or live location tracking and should sit alongside the person’s existing care and safety plan.

Forget Me Not is part of Next to Kin, a Métis-owned, family-run project from Regina, Saskatchewan.

The idea is personal. Founder Thom Hamilton once found a neighbour who was lost and unable to say who to call. Forget Me Not gives the next person who stops to help a way to make that connection.

A few practical questions

Easy to understand.
Easy to introduce.

Does the person helping need an app?

No. Tapping the tag with a compatible NFC-enabled smartphone opens a contact page in the browser. The helper does not need an account or subscription.

Does Forget Me Not track the wearer?

No. The tag has no GPS, battery or live location tracking. It helps a person who is already with the wearer reach their trusted contact.

Who sets up the tag?

The person, a family member, a caregiver or your staff can add the contact information. Your team can discuss setup instructions and direct email support with Next to Kin.

Can we discuss a different quantity?

Yes. Email support@nexttokin.ca with your organization’s needs to discuss volume and formats.

What information does a helper see?

The contact page shows the information selected during setup. Choose what a helper needs to reach the right person, and consider privacy when adding details.
